Media blasting is a process of cleaning and preparing surfaces for various refinishing, restoration or coating applications. It involves propelling abrasive materials at high speeds against a surface to remove contaminants such as paint, rust, grease, scale and other accumulated deposits. Media blasting can also be used to shape and texturize metal parts in preparation for welding.
